We have an A-M-A-Z-I-N-G staff and team! Crook County Christian School, we understand that our staff is our most important asset, and we place a huge emphasis on empowering and training our staff. We want every team member to feel valued and to be well equipped for their role. We could not be more excited about how this team fits together inside and outside of the classroom, and this gives your student the best opportunity to thrive. This is a team dedicated to one another, to our families, and to our God-given mission.
In-Service Day #1 (Team Training)
Tuesday was our first day of staff in-service. Mrs. Elizabeth Mapes (a 27 year veteran teacher, with 20 years spent at Crook County Christian School) did an amazing job helping impart many important lessons from her vast experience to our teachers. It was an incredibly rich time discussing classroom management, learning styles, and strategies for student success and outcomes.

In-Service Day #2 (Abeka Training)
Our team traveled to Tigard for an Abeka training. It was an early morning start to get on the road (4:30am), and we returned just after 8pm. While it was a long day, the training was invaluable! All of our teachers (even our most experienced) felt there was so much to take away. Plus, it was an amazing opportunity for team building and bonding together. Such a fun day, and it was so neat to see how well this team works together and enjoys one another!

In-Service Day #3 (Foundations)
To round out the week, we did a deep dive into all our policies and procedures for staff and families. That is so key as they form the foundation of excellence in everything else we do and layout the expectations for how and why we do what we do. We are creating a great culture, and we’re excited to have our families join us as we work together!
Looking forward to an amazing year!!! We can’t wait to get started on September 6th!
