Teacher Appreciation: Mrs. Wittenberg
Our teachers are the heartbeat of what we do, and they are what makes Crook County Christian School such a special place for our students and families. We could not accomplish what we are accomplishing without our incredible and talented staff.
Mrs. Wittenberg is a gift to our students, staff and team! She is a mentoring teacher for new teachers to help them learn new curriculum, and she has recently taken on the role of Early Learning Director which is part of our strategy that is already producing great dividends. We put a strong emphasis in preschool through 2nd grade on early literacy development to help produce strong & confident readers and learners prior to 3rd grade. As she works directly with our preschool teachers to mentor them, our students are directly experiencing the benefit of a cohesive program at each stage. Not only are students learning to read in preschool, but those foundations carry them into Kindergarten through 2nd grade and we’re seeing excellent results.
