Five officers from the Prineville Police Department visited Crook County Christian School on Wednesday morning to talk with students about safety and the role police play in the community. Our students had a lot of fun asking questions, looking inside vehicles, and even trying out some of the equipment. School resource officers, Kathryn Bottoms and Jeff Coffman, both stressed the importance of safety and of students having great and trusting relationship with officers in the community.
By every measure, it was a great success and the students loved having the officers come to visit. We look forward to having the same opportunity next year!
