This year’s open house event was a wonderful success by every measure. Staff and families had so much fun and the growth and continued transformation year over year brought a strong sense of excitement, especially to those who were with us during the first year of re-planting Crook County Christian School. Many of our existing families noted, “There are so many people!” As we head into Fall 2023 there is a growing excitement and anticipation about what God is going to do in year two of our replant to build upon the strong foundations laid last year and the incredible community that has been established. We truly have the best staff and families, and we are blessed beyond measure by all that God has accomplished so far.
Back to School BBQ
Open house kicked off with a back to school BBQ. Thank goodness the rain held off, as it gave existing families and new families an opportunity to experience the strong sense of family and community that makes CCCS such a special place. Additionally, it have kids an opportunity to play outside and for parents to experience the newly remodeled playground that was installed last October. With families each bringing a side dish or dessert, there was plenty of yummy food and treats to share!
Preschool
Our preschool classrooms look stunning! Additionally, our program does a phenomenal job of preparing students for Elementary school and developing early literacy while making school fun and enjoyable. Our teachers do an incredible job of building relationships with students and families, and providing a positive and stimulating environment for students to grow and learn.
Kindergarten
This year, we are blessed to have 2 Kindergarten classes due to growth. Because we strive to keep class sizes small, we found it necessary to add a 2nd kindergarten class to accommodate a growing group of families who see the value in our program and the results we are achieving. All of our existing classes and programs grew, but Kindergarten saw the greatest increase. Just like preschool, our teachers do an excellent job of creating relationships with students and families and cultivating a positive learning environment for students to grow and thrive in early literacy.
Elementary
Our elementary has also seen significant growth year over year which is exciting and a testimony to the strength of our teachers and program. Our amazing teaching team does an excellent job of helping students build upon the strong foundations laid by our early education team. They build upon those foundations to help students develop into stronger readers and eager learners.
Middle School
This year, we expanded our program offering to 8th grade, and we were blessed to be able to remodel those classrooms to give students an amazing learning environment and a top notch experience. Check out the beautifully remodeled classrooms!
Afterschool Care & Art Room
Our teachers are extremely creative, and our art and specials room looks absolutely stunning. Additionally, this room doubles as our afterschool care program room. Students are going to love the upgrades!
Miscellaneous Photos
From our cafeteria to our remodeled library, big changes are happening this year at Crook County Christian School. We invite you to come and see and to be part of the amazing community and program that is changing the way we disciple and educate our kids! We are doing things we’ve never done before, and that will continue to differentiate us from the other schools in our region. It’s exciting to see what God is continuing to provide!
As we prepare to start school this year, all we can say as we look back and see all that God has accomplished to bring us to this point is SOLA DEO GLORIA (Glory to God Alone)! He is so very good!
